OPEN TO 2012-2013 LEADERSHIP ROUND ROCK CLASS PARTICIPANTS ONLY.
Leadership Round Rock is a 10 month program that develops leadership skills in individuals, and promotes awareness of issues and opportunities impacting Round Rock.
Our curriculum educates class members about vital issues affecting our community. Through that education, we provide them with the leadership tools necessary to address those issues and motivate others.
Leadership Round Rock is a unique opportunity for people at different leadership stages of their life to become well-informed community leaders.
Any adult may apply. Leadership Round Rock is non-discriminatory in regard to race, color, sex, age, religion, veteran status, disability, or political affiliation. Local businesses and organizations are encouraged to submit nominations, and to provide scholarships to employees whom they believe have community leadership potential. Class size is limited. The Leadership Round Rock Planning Board reviews all applications and notifies recipients of acceptance.
Attendance and active participation in nine (9) full-day sessions that are usually held on the third Wednesday of each month, from September through May. A class retreat is held in August.
Tuition is $1000 and must be paid by the first class session unless arrangements have been made and approved by the Chamber. There will be no refunds after the class begins. A limited number of partial scholarships may be available.
